1 Bobildagi daryolar boʻyida oʻtirardik,
Yigʻlab, u yerlarda Quddusni eslardik.
2 Liralarimizni oʻsha yerdagi tollarga osib qoʻygandik.
3 Bizni u yerda asirga olganlar:
“Qoʻshiq aytib beringlar”, derdilar,
Bizga zulm qilganlar koʻngillarini chogʻ qilgani:
“Bizga Quddus qoʻshiqlaridan kuylanglar”, derdilar.
4 Qanday qilib begona yurtda
Biz Egamizga qoʻshiq kuylay olardik?!
5 Ey Quddus, agar seni unutsam,
Oʻng qoʻlim qurib qolsin.
6 Agar men seni eslamasam,
Quddusni eng katta shodligim deb bilmasam,
Tilim tanglayimga yopishib qolsin.
7 Ey Egam, Quddus qulagan kunda
Edomliklar nima qilganini yodda tutgin.
Axir, ular: “Qulating, yiqiting uni!
Poydevorigacha qulatib tashlang!” deb baqirgan.
8 Ey Bobil shahri! Qirgʻinga mahkum boʻlgansan .
Bizga ne qilgan boʻlsang,
Oʻshani boshingga soladiganlar baxtlidir.
9 Sening goʻdaklaringni ushlab, qoyaga urib,
Tilka–pora qiladiganlar baxtlidir.

19 Sihon king of the Amorites: for his mercy endureth for ever:

22 Even an heritage unto Israel his servant: for his mercy endureth for ever.
23 Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever:
24 And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever.
25 Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever.
26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.
